it is pretty interesting and is open source, so it can change constantly, 
and there seems to be new instances of the allegro game library quickly 
coming out, or different varying versions of Allegro. For instance the other 
day they released a new version of allegro that would allow you to portray 
some type of picture format to the screen that it wouldn't support earlier.
